I just bought a Porsche 914 from an outfit called Auto Europa in Naples, Fl. I bought it over the Internet, from pictures, and had the car shipped up here to Canada. The car was billed as haveing "No cancer whatsover" . In fact, it has major structual rust. This vehicle will probably never turn a wheel here in Canada. I dealt with a salesman called Ed Biocic, and a mechanic named Andrew Farrar. I paid 7250 for this car, but it is really only worth 2000.I didn't have a independent inspection done as I thought I was a good judge of character. Unfortunately, Ed and Andrew lied through their teeth. I asked Andrew Farrar if he saw any rust. He said there was only surface rust underneath, except for the two rear jacking pads.My question is, do I have any recourse? I'd like to sue them, or take them to small claims court, together with the previous owner, Tom Pearson, who certainly knew the condition of the car. Does anyone know a lawyer who might have some ideas?
